Tonight I was invited over for dinner at Robert and Nancy's, my long time friends. We go back 35 years! We watched each other's kids grow up and now we have grandchildren.
It was a fun evening and as usual, the dinner was superb. Nancy made a beef stew served over noodles, with a fine salad of greens, sliced apples, nuts, and blue cheese. And as if that wasn't enough, when the dinner plates were cleared, she brought out a scrumptious dessert made of sour cream, apples and nuts and I'm not sure what else.
