Sweet and Sour Pork Chops

This is an old, old recipe.  Don't remember where I first found it, but it is one that is a tasty delight.

Pork Chops - enough to serve everyone

Coat meat with flour, ginger, salt and pepper

Brown the chops in oil, then remove from the pan.

Saute chopped onion and garlic in the pan you browned the meat in.


1/2 cup beef broth
1/3 cup chili sauce
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar

Bring this to a full boil.  Then simmer pork chops in the liquid till done.
