Cataract surgery

I am pleased to report that my cataract surgery went very well this morning.  All the agonizing I went through was for nothing!

There was no pain and the hospital staff, from the secretary that checked me in, the patient care technicians, nurses, the doctors, everyone was top notch and treated me just wonderful.

Cataract surgery has come a long way from the days of long hospital stays and unpleasant recovery.  I was in and out of the operating room in a half hour and on my way home in less than an hour in recovery.

In two weeks I'll be back for the second eye, without the anxiety I went through this time!
