Rarely can you go outside in Western New York this time of year without a winter coat and snow boots. . . If this is tone of winter to come, bring it on!
I took advantage of this warm weather to get out, dressed only in sweat shirt and sweat pants and my shoes, to cut back the dead blooms on the hydrangea bushes across the back fence. They need to be cut back, I believe the term is called "deadheading," in the fall so that the new blooms will come out in the spring.
Bailey, my yellow Lab puppy, is six months old already and growing so fast! Already she has learned to control me with those eyes! If I could get her to be still long enough to get a decent picture, I would post it here. Keep watching, someday I may get lucky!
