Time for a change. I'm going to focus on my love of writing. Don't expect a novel, just whatever is in my heart. Look for anything from something that happened years or decades ago to a thought or sight in current day. . . sometimes heartwarming and happy, sometimes a look at the obstacles we all face. Hope you like my new venture.

Kabobs on the Grill
First of the year grilling!
These kabobs are delicious. My cousin, Rita, sent me the recipe:
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon oil
juice of one lime
1 teaspoon minced garlic
Here's what I put on the skewers:
chunks of chicken breast
small red creamer potatoes
red bell pepper
green bell pepper
Let the food on the skewer marinate for at least half an hour
I should have cut the potatoes into smaller pieces, everything else was done except the potatoes were a little "crisp"!

Sounds good!! Ive taken a note of the marinade and Ill be trying it out!
ReplyDeleteAnd Sherry...It's a kebab,not a kebob!Well,it is here anyway :0)
That all sounds so good. :) We are looking forward to being home and using the grill/smoker again. My Honey always tells people that where he came from in Norway they were so tough they didn't smoke cigarettes, they smoked salmon! ;)
ReplyDeleteSunday hugs,
Lois
Oh, my, if I had seen this yesterday, we would have had these for dinner today. Our daughter that was here today loves them....at least I might remember this and fix them next time.
ReplyDeleteOh, I was going to say that we use pork roasts for these...they are yummy.
ReplyDeleteYum! With our warm weather we should be grilling out.
